Kamala Harris’s political adviser Karen Dunn seems to have the unusual ability to exist in two places at once. Last week, she both prepped Harris in Pittsburgh for tonight’s presidential debate against Donald Trump, and prepped legal defense strategy in an Alexandria, Virginia, courtroom for Google, which is facing a monopolization lawsuit brought by Harris’s own administration. The first day of the Google trial began Monday, with Dunn, a partner with firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, giving the opening statement in court.
They are both large tech companies. Different sectors, same industry.
It doesn’t matter that they’re in the same industry. They’re not competing against each other, and it’s an antitrust case.
That’s not my point. Her brother in law is an Uber lawyer and at the same time advising her campaign. Similarly, her campaign advisor is defending Google in an anti-monopoly case. She is big tech friendly is the point I am making.
Because she, a successful lawyer, has family and advisors that are also lawyers and your worried that they are practicing law?
If her brother and advisor were criminal defense lawyers instead, would you say that’s proof Harris would be weak on crime?
Lawyers are gonna lawyer my friend. That’s, in and of itself, is not a sign of anything nefarious.

I read the article. Quoting it isn’t convincing me. That’s all conjecture.
