My guy, I am fighting just to survive out here. The process to run for office is difficult and expensive. You need an attorney to help you run for local office or you’ll mess up the paperwork. I don’t have thousands of dollars to do it and I’m not charismatic in the slightest. In fact, I’m good at getting people to hate me instantly.

Leadership is not easy. Building grassroots groups to support a candidate to attempt leadership is even harder.
And your situation is exactly by design from those in power.
