On this site the historic commemorative trees were demolished by Donald Trump on 24 October 2025 to make space for the Epstein Ballroom. The trees had been carefully tended for 103 years on the day of their death, having survived a economic depression, war after war, and 26 presidential terms with leaders of both parties.Something like that. We can hope someone relocated them to a park or even a backyard, but they probably became the sawdust in the authentic vomitorium.
