“Guys, it’s not that long. Stop making jokes about his pole. It’s really sad.”

-his wife, maybe. If he had one.

Floridian Garth Nathaniel Walton, 32, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting police at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 by throwing a “long white pole” at officers

Something-something the Narwhal bacons at J6. The joke, it’s just out of reach.

Maybe it’s time to divert resources from the J6 people who are currently likely to get pardoned before trial to current cases of domestic terrorism that are probably being planned right now.

So ignore previous domestic terrorism acts to focus on future ones? I get what you are saying, it’s already over so focus on stopping any new people getting hurt is obviously good. But you can’t just let stuff like this slide. The thoroughness of the jan 6th investigations has been seriously impressive, it’s stuff like this that might make people think twice about participating in such actions going forward. Now they know that “safety in numbers” isn’t a thing, because the fbi will just pick you up 4 years later once they get to you!
