A county on Long Island could become one of the first legislative bodies in the tri-state to ban face masks that conceal the wearer’s identity — with violators facing potential fines and even jail time.
Oof any Nassau and Suffolk County PDs are terrible. Suffolk cops are the ones that burst into laughter when TFG addressed them and said (paraphrased) “Why do you care so much when putting someone in the back of your police car, protecting their head? Maybe next time don’t worry about it.”
Oh I have no doubt they’ll pull masks off of anyone they feel like. They’ll probably use this as an excuse to pull a transparent oxygen mask from a senior citizen because it “hides their identity.”
Yeah… My home county. Trump land, rich & very poor people, but aggressive assholes none the less absolutely everywhere. Home of the $500k burned down shack masquerading as a “starter home.”
