At the very least OP should’ve just called in out in the title since this a regional Lemmy community. I don’t expect a small site like this to put “California” in after every mention of their cities when 99.99% of their readers are probably from

Here is the first article for the local news in the Richmond, VA area currently. Notice that they start by listing the county as “Hanover County, VA”
It really isn’t that hard nor is it an inconvenience for the readers.
