You can manually add the image as the thumbnail when you edit the post to be the link so we don’t have to remove it.
You don’t have to remove anything. You’re not a robot.
Intermittent reinforcement is the worst kind of reinforcement.
“You didn’t remove their post, why did you remove miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnneeeeeeee???”
No, just… no.
Bullshit. You’re not a robot and this is clearly a newsworthy image. Your role isn’t to sit at a computer and run the rules algorithm, it’s to facilitate an online discussion board.
Now I’m removing it just to spite you. We don’t allow image posts. News articles only.
Do you mean when I submit? Currently, I don’t see a way to remove the image. I submitted as an image via piefed. Might be a bit of difference between there and lemmy.world as far as that goes. Probably should just submit to lemmy.world from my account there in the future. The link is included but I didn’t notice your rule about single links till after I hit submit. Thanks.
Yeah, when you submit, it SHOULD give you the option for URL and Thumbnail independent of each other.
I use “Boost” as my app, but it should be the same elsewhere, not sure about Piefed:
Additional notes, archive links, etc. can go in the body section.
