I really love this handheld so many windows games work so well on it and adding games from other platforms then steam is quite easy over the desktop mode. I’m playing the Skywalker Saga Lego Game and it’s a lot of fun and the graphics are amazing

It’s perfect. It does everything I want it to do and much more, and at a very salient price point. I have one complaint and that is that after ~30 mins of play my arms start to ache. Ergonomics could be improved, and almost certainly will be in the future.

The SteamDeck is not a portable. It doesn’t fit regular pants pockets. The performance of the battery isn’t also super impressive. Those two things needs attention.

I also have pain in my arms and neck after playing with the Deck in handheld mode. I had the same with my kids’s Switch and don’t have it with my Playstation 5, so I guess it’s related to the form factor and not necessarly to any flaw in ergonomics.

I got a pair of the xreal air glasses to use with the deck. Now I have a big screen and I can keep my arms down where they’re comfy. 7/5 would recommend.

        xreal air glasses

That looks sick, but it costs about as much as the Steam Deck itself. Maybe if I win a lottery.

I got the original ones not the fancy new ones on ebay for £112, the cable was broken and the nose pads were missing but I bought some foam pads and a new cable for £15.
Absolutly worth it. They also plug into my phone for watching movies and shows. I work away from home a lot and the glasses along with noise cancelling headphones are brilliant at blocking out all the idiots who’d otherwise think they could talk to me.

This is my main issue with it, it is so uncomfortable. It is too large, weighty and the buttons are not all comfortably places in my opinion.

The PS Vita feels so much better in hand but then becomes a bit cramped after a few hours play so I’d really love something in between the two for me personally.

I have large hands and steam deck is the first console that feels right. But I guess that proves your point.
