The procedure is much hassle free than it looks. Keeping the secure boot on enrolled is a good practice. I read recently that Fedora was approving the sign automatically to be part of the gnome-software. So things may become even easier soon.

For Fedora you can follow the RPM Fusion documentation or have a look to this guide
Is this available in KDE?
Very good writeup. If I not agree with all, I probably agree with most that is in here. On the DE section, I think we should help drive the beginner choice. In the recent past, KDE and Gnome were the early adopters of Wayland and the ones introducing the new features. They are also the choice of most distros. Therefore, I’d recommend one of those two.
I’d open a new section worth of scrutinies, dedicated about security. I believe it may worth advising that as a criteria of selection is recommended to not use distros that freezes regular releases for more than 1 year in desktop installations. Like is explained here. At least in your first distro selection. Perhaps, also add a note about secure boot as well and some guide of how to harden your installation, Madaidans, Privacy Tweaks, PrivSec and PrivacyGuides.
I installed it from F-Droid back on December last year. This post is kind inaccurate.
That is a reminder that I should donate to the project. The instance that I joined is up and running.
Not challenging, what good open source games do we have so far?
Mihon seems good in case you were using Tachiyomi since you can import the library
Uber? What do you use for rides?
Is it better than Mihon?
Kububtu is a good place to start, too. I notice that people recommend Ubuntu but some may be also including the other flavors when saying it. I think KDE is a nice DE, specially because of Dolphin.
Decentralizing the database in a federated structure for anime tracking is a very good idea. Right now I’m using Anitrend that is open source but is only a interface to Anilist.
Like you pointed I think the major challenge will be to establish a solid new shows database entries police(s). Not sure how we could manage that effectively. Governance will be key but you also don’t want to be a hostage of this project for your life.
One aspect to be taken in consideration is privacy. I think a lot of people would appreciate to have access to the new tracker without having to share anything about them.
I’ll sound a downer but it lost me on “Discord App”
Same. Libretube is the first that I check, sometimes doesn’t work then I go to Tubular.
Oh! Great, now it became a GrapheneOS issue because I don’t see Advance settings available in Languages to update Spell Checker =[
Edit: OH! Finally, it is under Keyboard > Spell Checker > Default Spell Checker
Nice! Guys, any ideas of when other languages keyboard will stop underline red the words that are correct? I don’t like to use multilingual keyboard, I prefer to have multiple keyboards with their own dictionaries. Everything else seems to be working quite well for me. Am I missing something?
Android
Audile like SoundHoud and Shazam but open source
Funkwhale it is a federated cloud community music streamer app
Innertune to find new songs from Spotify
Open Video Editor to edit videos
Heliboard successor of OpenBoard
Tubular successor of NewPipe
ZipXtract a zip extractor
Wger fitness app
Please just a reminder, consider contributing to these apps developers.
The way that I worked around this issue was to add the workout plan via a web browser in a PC. It syncs with the app and after that it is working fine.
Now that my account passed the trial period I can even create workout exercises which I didn’t try yet so I can’t comment about it.
Otherwise this is the first decent workout open source app that I found that works for me.
The red lines are quite annoying. I think I’ll ask this in the repository and if I hear more from the developers I update it here
what about Ente? It has E2EE encryption that immich doesn’t have and can be self hostable like immich. Never used both so I’m just asking
