It seems like you’d be better off on a site like Hacker News if you are that motivated to avoid politics

Amazingly enough most of the Linux community is not trying to get you to look at their thighs.

Wait, I thought posting pictures of your thighs was required for running Linux?

I am almost certain that, not only would you end up filtering things you should absolutely be learning more about, but you’ll filter stuff you didn’t mean to just because of a similar word being used.

    Also, you spelt Palestine wrong.

*spelled. Spelt is a type of wheat.

And if we’re being picky, he spelled it incorrectly, not wrong.

        Spelling wrong is wrong?

FYI: “Spelt” is as valid of a past tense of “spell” as “spelled” is, and “incorrect” and “wrong” are literally synonyms.

I’m American and “spelled” is correct here. I concede that in other parts of the world, spelt is acceptable.

It’s true; the American English past tense form is spelled. In other varieties of English, both spelled and spelt are common.

          https://www.grammarly.com/blog/spelled-spelt/

Regarding incorrect versus wrong, it’s the adverb. “Spell” is a verb, and you need an adverb to modify the verb.

Not a fan of filtering keywords, personally. I prefer to block troll accounts and block hateful communities on an individual basis.

I’m shocked and offended at this!

Why would you have “Elon Musk” when just “Musk” is shorter and catches more.

(Also, my sympathies to all the trans people out there who have to put up with this obvious ragebait. You are all valid and I wish you the best. <3)
