Invoking Section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, a rarely used provision of federal law, Trump said he was placing the Metropolitan Police Department under direct White House control and deploying the D.C. National Guard into city streets.

There is really no other way to get rid of the homeless infestation (except ofc providing a minimum safety net and having a semblance of empathy). He just has the balls to do what other, democratic, leaders don’t dare (like full dictatorship).
