the fact that the federal government is removing sections from the Constitution on its official website should be the final nail in the coffin for anyone holding on to optimism or those remaining skeptical.

if you are in your 30s ask yourself if Bush would have thought about doing anything to even suggest altering or changing the constitution. the constitution of this country has long since been championed by conservatives to be “law of the land” as essentially infallible. they used to foam at the mouth if anyone attempted to revise a single part of it lest the entire document become obsolete.

it’s done, you guys. Project 2025 has won and we are not a constitutional republic anymore. dictatorship is being OPENLY attempted and if you still think at this point fascism is not here you are delusional.

wake up and get ready for whatever is coming after.

we are attempting peace while violence is being orchestrated openly. it is, in my opinion, beyond the time to eschew pacifism. why would you allow fascism to gain additional momentum and wait until it starts trying to kill you? why are we not stopping it before it gets to that point? you cannot protest or demonstrate this away.

I personally agree. I don’t know how to get that across to people however.

In my opinion, I believe people need to see mass peaceful protest that gets brutalized by those in power in order to get them moving. Something similar to what happened in 2020. This is because I think largely people are either uneducated about fascism in history or are generally scared to act.

I could be completely wrong. But I think people have to have that shock. Something to spur them to action. Something so awful they can’t ignore it any longer. If there was a food shortage, for example, I think that might be another reason why people would revolt.

I’ve been waiting to see what finally breaks the camels back, but so far, nothing we’ve seen has been the tipping point. It’s frustrating to watch but it’s all I can do from my end other than talk about it

Kent State certainly didn’t improve the electorate’s opinion of Vietnam. Oh, look … there’s the National Guard again.
