This is only an educated guess, but given the role liberal nobles (so people like the Marquis de Lafayette and the Duke d’Orlean) had in the early revolution, it’s pretty clear that there was a lot of support for that stuff. But then again you had the emigres and everything that came with that, so it wasn’t exactly universal either.
