Best: Indian friend invited me to his wedding in India, 5 days straight of eating delicious food, rituals and ceremonies. As a European, this was entirely exotic to me. Also it was my first time in India and I did a little bit a tourist on the side of the events. Main wedding day had over 2000 people invited, traditional food service for lunch, ice cream booth. The ceremony was in an amphitheatre with the a temple built on stage entirely covered in flowers, it smelled very nice.

Worst: my wedding 😅. Married during COVID in a foreign country, my family were not allowed to travel, country on lockdown. It was my wife and I, ceremony was 3 minutes top-chrono. Witnesses provided by the municipality. It was still a great time, we had the photoshoot after and spend the week exploring Copenhagen without tourists. We had a celebration with family and friends 2 years later, it was very humble but everyone was so happy to meet after all the isolation and it was a great time too.

People have to stop believing that wealthy people will leave instantly once they begin getting taxed. This is just a lie.

They are wealthy because of their assets and connections. They have houses, appartements, offices and factories. They have a network of influencer in the country they live in, in the city they live in ! They have a big family, kids. It’s actually harder for these people to move out than you and I.

The money is already escaping. They use any loopholes (fiscal optimization they call it) to pay much lower tax than anyone else proportionally.

They won’t leave ! Let the tax begin ! The loopholes have to be eliminated so that they cannot convert their wealth to escape tax artificially.

Maybe this person has a food related disorder, like “apples are the only things I can eat” and eating a tomato thinking it’s an apple might help in a way ?

You have to be crazy to watch YouTube without an ad-blocker in this day and age! On mobile (Android at least), Firefox with ublock works well for YouTube.

Yes, some video have a 1080p Premium high nitrate quality option that you need to pay for. It’s just the standard quality, but the free 1080p is now shitty.

It’s very sad there isn’t anything that can even remotely compare to YouTube at this time. All the content is there, can’t get it elsewhere. At least with Firefox, ublock and SponsorBlock, it’s bearable.

Same, you offer me a Coca-Cola or a glace of tap water, I go with water any time. Cola will just make me more thirsty and my mouth will taste unpleasant sugary for hours. It’s just isn’t nice.
