there is a pocket star trek novel i can’t find a physical copy for less than 100 US dollars called “a stitch in time”. for some reason they won’t reprint it (they released an audiobook recently but i don’t personally like reading books that are not physical paper books).
I was starting to get into terfism about 5 years ago, and started to get into some right wing content (what they tell you about the terf to alt right pipeline IS true). What changed me was my best friend found out she was trans, and then I started researching more about the trans point of view on all this shit. A youtuber called Jessie Gender was greatly responsible for this also. I also dug into my feelings that partially got me into this in the first place and then I found out I was nonbinary. This gave me a whole different perspective on consuming right wing content, bc I sorta went through it personally.
yeah, in that sense i don’t trust them either. they may not be openly evil but it’s a matter of time before this becomes more obvious. i feel this way about discord also (it annoys me sometimes but it’s still usable, but i know this won’t last long). let’s hope people come up with a better alternative soon
i only found out about open source culture this year as i was looking into the fediverse (i don’t know much about tech) and it has given me a lotta hope 🤗
