xD no? Why would everyone claim one? I for example would be fucking glad not to receive e-junk with all my purchases
Simple solution: if a device you sell comes without charging cable, it has to be written in large letters on the box that you have the right to claim one for free (like cigarette health warning) and the seller has to inform the customer before checkout
Why is that?
I don’t care if they keep the extra couple cents they saved on not giving the cable. I fucking hate getting extra e-junk with my electronics. I hate getting new cables just like I fucking hated getting shitty headsets with pre-smart phones. Nobody used them regardless. For all I care all battery-powered electronics, including laptops, could very well come without chargers and standardised cables, just with large warning on the box (like the one on cigarette packs). That was the fucking point of this EU regulation, to reduce e-junk
No? I use the same usb cable and QC3 charger I got with my 2016 Xiaomi
I’m all for it IF the cable is provided for free on demand to 0,001% of customers who happen to not have one. I have a separate drawer for all my extra usb C and micro usb cables which come with random electronics which I feel bad just throwing in the trash but I know I’ll never need.
What’s the difference between smart tube and smatttubenext?
we promise we’ll use the inferior, proprietary connector
Fuck, let’s hope they at least allow screws. Click-in latches are prone to breaking and wearing out
the stupidest thing is iPad had USB-C since 2018! and yet on iPhones they latched on to lightning for another 6 years before EU forced them to standardize
Scrambled eggs with onion and chives on butter and rye bread
Aren’t scratch tickets activated in the lottery system at the moment of purchase anyway? They have serial numbers
But why racism is particular? Sure I see how she has been “othered” by the interviewer, but why racism?
Why does she think it’s a racism thing?
You might like Unihertz Titan Pocket then
It’s funny how Snapchat was huge in Europe like a decade ago, this was before it even introduced chat feature or stories, it was only disappearing photos, then it died, then 3 or 5 years ago Americans picked it up as the foremost alternative to SMS/iMessage, and at the moment the European Gen-Z is getting into Snapchat again, or so I believe judging by the sample of 2 (two) cousins I have
Seen an episode or two of this, not a fan
“The Americans” — spy drama about Soviet deep undercover spies living in suburban Washington and their FBI neighbour
“Homeland” — CIA accuses a returned prisoner of war to be turned islamic terrorist
“Berlin Station” — CIA station in Berlin faces repeating leaks. First season starts off boring but picks up speed fast
Some don’t. But most people are not gatherers
