Good job on not serving her. Unfortunately in service culture where the customer is always right, there often is no blowback from customers being rude or unreasonable. There needs to be pushback, even small victories are still a win.

As a cis male, I would also say to be visible when safe to do so in online and real-world spaces. Normalisation of the lgb part of LGBT has led to a big reduction in animosity and more open living. Hiding and being anonymous are two different things. Above all, staying safe is most important. The safest thing is still the advancement of trans rights and human rights, which although we’re in a step back right now is often two forward, one back. So there is hope, too.
Yes, but there was unlikely to be 100% turnout of horrible people. Some good people voted for Trump, in what we see as misguided but tolerant of racism. However many more racist people stayed home and didn’t vote and many more didn’t care about racism enough to vote.
Trump in the USA and people’s response to covid (worldwide) really highlighted selfishness of humanity to me. I’m a less hopeful person because of it but that doesn’t mean I won’t fight for what’s right.
Voter’s have failed us. The Dems have failed us. The justice system has failed us.
Trump has highlighted the fragility of the system. The Dems have had multiple years to fix some of it. They did none. Then they ran a mediocre candidate in the same vein as Hilary, who failed against Trump before.
Voter’s need to realise that if they disagree with the Dems, voting for the GOP is not necessarily a better option. Voting third party is worse than voting someone you disagree with.
The Dems need to realise that they won’t get Republican voters to vote for them. They should try to excite and plan for the voters based on good policy. Trying to play both sides gets you neither side. Be progressive or leave the Dems and be a Republican. There is no moderates in either side when one side is not negotiating in good faith.
Let the voters choose between two alternative visions. Not one vision, or the same vision with a racist demagogue at the front.
It’s scary times ahead. However, it’s been scary times for years now, so we are all used to it. Maybe that’s the problem. We all want change. Trump promises it. He’s just promising disruptive change without a coherent plan. Where is the Dems coherent plan for change?
End of glenroe. (Ireland)
You mean in military aid or are you trying to muddy the waters? Humanitarian aid is the opposite of military aid. Without the military aid to Israel, it may be they don’t need as much in Palestine.

Where Mr robot is an unreliable narrator that questions himself, devs has a paranoia that someone else is controlling the narrative to purposefully make you question,
Making an effort and hanging a bad made costume is better than a bought costume. It should be about creativity, not money.
I’d still give candy to kids. Not teens. I’d give extra candy to kids that made an effort in whatever way.
Most other countries have their post Covid inflation mostly under control, if not in their preferred band, they are considering rate cuts. Obviously war is not conducive to that. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the cost of war became a problem that hindered it, which was the point of institutions like the eu in the first place.
That and the fort trial. Or where Jen breaks the internet.
I usually just wet my pants to avoid touching my own penis so I don’t get perceived as gay. Shit, I just used the word perceived. Gay af.
As a foreign born person, now living in Australia with Australian citizenship, Australia has undoubted racism, including casual racism, institutional racism and blatant bigotry. However, viokent hate crimes are much more rare. Australians are generally welcoming, even to those they hold outdated racist views against. Its not people in masks lighting crosses on lawns. Its people being friendly with foreigners at work but never making friends with them, despite doing the same with white coworkers. Its having neoghbours whobyou are friendly with and borrow tools from each other but still roll your eyes as they dont eat bacon, son you couldn’t possibly invite them over for a barbecue as your potato salad has bacon bits on top. Its denying original Australians a voice in the Parliament.
However, China has a much bigger problem with racism where there is purposeful genocide. However, China’s criticism rings true, because it is.
Australia can and will do better as most peopke dont want to be racist. There is a fringe far right element, like most western countries but its not the norm. I thibknchina will also do better as their exposure to other cultures and peoples increases.
Saying she respects his right to have an opinion, as this s seems to be, is far from accusing Israel if genocide. JPost calling it blood libel is inflammatory and an attempt to silence all valid calls of genocide.
I’m not nornalisong genocide. I also recognize that there are two bad options and she is the least bad option.
Actively seeking to undermine her without an alternative is advocating for more genocide, not less.
Not really. As vice president her role is to follow the administration and donbidens plans, but not unquestioningly. As a candidate, she should have her own vision.
Shes more responsible than someone outside the administration but shes not the administration on her own. So even if there were minor tweaks that were inconsequential to you or any major issues, it wouldn’t be performative but perfectly normal.
I would expect her platform to also not undermine her current role, or shed have to leave. If she plans major changes, she should announce them before election but that doesn’t mean she needs to announce things that aren’t election issues, unless she chooses to This is perfectly normal whether you agree with her or Biden or neither or both. To paint it as unusual is performative on your part, not hers.
What does it say?
Dude!
Reminds me of the movie without the car.
Band camp.
Similar movie, with some of the same actors.
My dad was going grey, so my brother bought him ‘just for men’ hair dye, which he opened at the Christmas dinner table with the entire family. He was about 9. We still laugh about it.
