What if I don’t want to do anything?
Endura MT500 Waterproof Jacket II is a top notch cycling jacket. Intended for mountain biking but imo outperforms most road stuff. Ridiculously good ventilation. Over-the-helmet hood is much less claustrophobic than wearing it underneath.
My only quarrel is that it’s not all that packable, but that really isn’t a problem in commuting.
Has held up for two years now.
Cool, now drop the CLAs and we’re good.
Right now I’m solving this by having two separate ingress controllers in one cluster - one for private stuff only available over a vpn, and one only available over public ips.
How’s this working out? What kinda alternatives are there with a single cluster?
They actually got better? Nice work
Tasks.org for tasks and Joplin for notes. Both can be synced with various technologies.
I would prefer this. And even without federation it’s a very good Stack Whatever replacement already.
I really like simple black&white T-shirts with just a logo.
Some will recognize it and come say hello. Most will think it’s just a brand. Some will ask what it is and I will gladly explain.
This Creative Commons shirt is one of my favourites.
This is literally the only app I miss from my window$ days. And they fucked up that too
Today I thought it was Monday when I woke up. Realizing it’s actually Wednesday was like skipping two days (of existence) for free!
Stupid as it sounds, this seems to be the case. It works great now (+ extra smooth because of all the settings lowering :D ). I even rebooted yesterday to no avail. Today I haven’t done anything special with the machine.
How often has this happened to you?
Mildly interesting observation: Having the game open in the background made browser scrolling very sluggish.
And other smaller things tend to misbehave as well. For this reason I always upgrade right before shutting down my machnine anyway.
An unintended side-effect of this is that I tend to postpone upgrades because I’m just about to leave somewhere and wouldn’t have to deal with any manual interventions.
You always have to be prepared for that. This is Arch.
The only use case for Appimages
If users want to carry applications around on a thumbdrive, or run on a fully immutable system like TAILS, Appimages may be needed. But this is the only target, and it is not a standard use case.
I guess I agree. This is precisely the case where I have ever used them. Namely to have a portable executable of my password manager on a stick together with a backup of the password database.
I had no idea they were being used elsewhere.
Didn’t look at the article but ya if you want to leverage SEDs then LUKS is the way to go.
