Windows is definitely security nightmare. I hate that i have to “just trust” that it isn’t doing sonething spyware like under the hood.
That’s a bit of an esoteric setup connected to a monitor and tv so i imagine it would take some extra finagling to set up. Maybe there is some sofware thay could help?
The last time i installed mint in like 2013 it took less than 45 miinutes. I’m sure in 2025 it’s a much more of a smooth experience.
I like that. Tutorials that are like looking through a clarification window to the documentation itself.
Takes great documentation, forethought and organization.
So that’s a good sign.
That’s what i thought. I’ve settled on Fedora server (for my lxc containers) because i was too indecisive between the 2 major forks.
I worked in a shop where my lead Dev used Gentoo as theit daily and a co-worker used Slackware.
Nobody else I’ve ever known or met could light a candle to their skill set.
Ok. Thank you. I’ll run through the configs. Appreciate your tips.
I’ll look into it when i get the chance. I didn’t see anything about retail mode. Is there another wording for that? Everything seemed to be straight forward during installation.
Samsung. But i think the culprit might be the new direct tv plug that seems to be wrapped up in gemini. This is my parents tv. I have actually never owned a tv and have onoy ever watch tv when i have roommates ir visit parents.
Considering they actively ordered this thing i’m guessing we’re just hosed.
But i am still looking into pi-hole and jellyfin setup for them.
Also like to know as so far i am intetested in pi-hole and jellyfin setup
I have been trying to find some motivation to get into the pi-hole game. And that Earl Grey project looks intetesting.
Maybe this release will be the answer.
This is harrowing considering that the trump administration was just caught using an open source messaging app for national security endeavors.
Nice PR stunt for Big Chicken & Waffle \s
What are you talking about? Most Tesla owners are progressives. This whole thing is a gut punch to Tesla owners.
The whole damn situation was a trap.
I think there are a lot of gunky software out there that only works on Windows. I tried getting my mom on Linux but I was unable to find any good open source sewing and graphic alternatives to the expensive lock in hardware that she had already bought.
Although I doubt these are the kind of road blocks charities are facing.
Hmm. I wonder if the server i just launched was number 600 😁😁🔥😁
Nice. Got a quick fix today.
