I have been using uBlock Origin (+ LibreWolf) for a long time and have no problems with ads, while other people with other blockers have a lot of problems, YouTube forces them to turn off blockers, worsens the experience, etc. uBlock Origin always seems to work perfectly.
I don’t know about Google, but DuckDuckGo sometimes even shows completely opposite things, even when I write Reddit at the end… finding something very specific or niche is a challenge.
I didn’t see this bot, but that’s probably because I selected “hide bots” in the settings.
Oh, really? My first Reddit account was banned for some damn reason, without explanation or notification, I only used it for a few days, I thought it was some bug/glitch/etc, I created a new account (deleting the old one, of course) and the new account was almost instantly banned, and I only found out later that they ban new accounts to prevent people from ban bypassing. So, no, it’s nonsense.
Also, appealing is useless, I guess, people wait for weeks, months, even a year for their appeal to be answered.
This is a meme community, spam/advertising is against the rules, and even if it wasn’t against the rules, this still doesn’t belong here.
