Where do you want me to start? The shady company that runs it? The godawful webapp and even worse electron “native” apps? All the privacy problems? The lack of any kind of guarantee that what you build there will still be there tomorrow? That’s all I can think of right now, but there’s probably more in the back of my mind somewhere.

In the UK, hospital administration still goes on. There’s no shortage of jobs for skilled administrators. There are people to assess whether you’re eligible for free treatment, people to assess what treatment you’re eligible for, people to bill patients who choose to go private and chase their debts, etc.

Plus there’s the extra layers of administration at local, regional, and national levels.

Plus there’s people moving money around to ensure bills get paid, facilities are maintained, and staff are fed. Money still moves around even when the patient isn’t the one paying it.

As a non sports fan the relative prices between matches make very little sense to me.

The opening match being more-or-less tied for second-most-expensive is just silly. Isn’t it just a group match? Does it really matter that much?

And the third-place match being cheaper than the quarter-finals? Going to see who’ll finish the absolute best except for two teams doesn’t matter? If my team was in the third-place match I’d want desperately for them to finish on a high!

I guess it’s just another Sports Thing™.

For what it’s worth: you absolutely can say those things. There may be consequences, probably bad ones, but you can definitely say those things.
