I gotta say David Hayter was the first video game voice actor I ever heard of and that’s because of a metal gear solid. I still think solid snake is my favourite game voice acting. Especially if you look at the subtle difference in Snake’s voice depending on the game. It was a complete travesty to have snake voiced by anyone else in 5, but in canon it makes sense i guess

I’m not American but know plenty, you’re all pro gun. It’s kinda crazy. Even democrats will defend gun rights. I saw a figure that said something like 61% of democrats are pro gun control, not ban but control. So that leaves 39% that are pro gun, on top of the pretty much 100% republicans who are pro gun rights.

Disney movies are a great example, everyone complaining about animated sequels, but over the last 3 years or so, every original film put out by Disney has flopped. And we’re talking about movies that only need to entertain children and are all advertised more or less equally. So kids and parents will go just based on the fact that it’s a new kids movie.

The sequels are doing great at the box office and Disney plus. But the original properties are mostly ignored. I think it has a lot to do with people having more choice and less time to sort out what new things they like, watching something new is a commitment, whereas watching a sequel with characters you already know may be a safer choice.

When an original show or movie comes out nobody watches, especially movies. Franchises and sequels keep getting made because they’re being watched.
