I’ve been running bazzite for about 6 months now, daily driving for about 5 months and its never once broken on me. During boot, you’re presented with 4 snapshots you can choose between so if an update did happen to break something, it’s easy as just choosing an older snapshot after a reboot. No idea why that commenter thinks it’s hard tbh.

I’m running it on a 7600x and a 6700XT GPU. Everything just worked out of the box for me, steam games work perfectly 99% of the time in my experience, and when you run into an issue just go to protondb and you’ll probably find the fix there.

Games run through lutris can be annoying at times, the EA app and battle.net games glitch out on me much more than steam games, but they do work, just gotta tinker with proton and wine versions till it runs.

Highly recommend bazzite, I love it after being a life long Windows user.

Tbh the bigger instances need to bite the bullet and defederate from .ml. There are alternatives to all the good comms on .ml, they just aren’t as active. Defederating would move a lot of users onto the alternatives and get some control back from the terrible .ml mods and admins.

Banning people from multiple completely unrelated comms for something that happened in one comm is bullshit and they abuse the hell out of that. I generally try not to participate in any .ml comm because of that.

.ca is good as well, the admin is top tier and very transparent with the userbase. I’m quite happy with my instance.

When I was a teen it was easy for me to get someone else to buy me smokes or booze or weed, just needed to pay a runners fee which was perfectly fine to me back then. Banning flavored juices just pisses off a lot of older vapers like me that have been vaping for years. I originally started to quit cigarettes, which I originally smoked for 6 years, and now 8 on the vape.

If I wanna poison my lungs, what business is that of anyone else’s? My life sucks enough, let me have my fruity vapour for fuck sakes and quit trying to ban shit, the alcohol prohibition didn’t work, keeping weed illegal didn’t stop people from getting it, you’re just taking a highly taxable product off the market. Edit: But I fully support banning disposable vapes. They’re a huge waste and banning them would raise the barrier of entry for people that want to vape. I have to change my cotton every few days and change my coils every month or so, and it’s fairly easy to mess up. Even premade coils with cotton already in them are a barrier to entry, I know a 30 year old dude that went back to smokes cause he’s too lazy to buy new coils and change them when they start tasting bad.
