Yeah, I just find too much of them. 7/10 of the first posts right now are politics. I don’t say we ban them, just reduce them a bit…
First 10 posts where? Lemmy.world’s local or all sort? There are other instances with different local and all sorts. Right now you’re on Lemmy.ml’s AskLemmy community, and Lemmy.ml tends to be more willing to discuss political topics because a lot of us are Marxists.
Ultimately, people engage with political content here, which is why it exists. You can curate your subscribed community list and sort that way, or you can find another instance, but comm rules already exist and people enjoy talking about politics.
