“When I get into office, the first thing we have to do, social media companies, they have to show America their algorithm,” Haley said during an interview with Fox News Tuesday. “Let us see why they’re pushing what they’re pushing.”

When they deliver a list of network nodes, interconnections and weights, I’m not sure it will answer her question.

“national security threat” == “threat to the regime we’re trying to establish”.

Cancelling and/or doxxing everybody even slightly opposed to the party line will become commonplace.

Speaking your mind out in the open requires bravery I sadly do not possess…

According to this latest article she partially takes back some of her outrageous demands: https://firstamendmentwatch.org/nikki-haley-walks-back-her-demand-that-social-media-ban-anonymous-posters-after-facing-gop-backlash

Her motivations are solid. Its the execution that’s the problem. At least she is honest and isn’t trying to do this under the table.

I didn’t realize Hillary Clinton was running in the Republican National Convention. But it makes sense that the parties of Capital both want to control non-monetized social media.

For context, remember 2016 when Hillary went to war against “anonymous” what do you think she mean by that?

    Or this? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/may/06/hillary-clinton-guardian-disinformation-big-tech-facebook

What should the government do about “misinformation” and how is it materially different then what Nikki Haley “vows” to do?

You think this particular issue doesn’t have full bipartisan support among the elites?

      You’re delusional

This is like one of those things republicans say during election season, then get back to doing nothing but funneling tax funds to donors.
