      The two scientists mentioned in the article appear to be fabrications using other people’s names. Eleanor Mboto appears to be some financial researcher at the university of calabar. and Fatima Nkosi appears to be made from scratch.

      I agree, this seems like ai slop.

    These scales have a unique crystalline structure embedded with conductive proteins that can store and discharge electrical energy. When threatened, the animal can generate electrical pulses measuring up to 50 volts—not lethal to humans but certainly sufficient to deter predators.
