First PETG 3d print in a while. Main body seems fine but overhangs are not. Unsure why. Need to investigate. (it’s a phone stand, the central portion swings out and makes a triangle, holding phone in that curve.)

Just add some or more fan on overhangs, petg looks much nicer that way ( worse layer adhesion)
Have you dried your petg recently?
I find PETG varies a lot. First thing I always do to troubleshoot is print same thing in pla to see if it’s a material issue or not. If so, try temp towers with that spool to see what temp gives you best overhang. I have a blue PETG that looks just like that, and in my experience those cool translucent PETG spools are more finicky then matte finish versions for some reason too.
Assuming prusaslicer, go to print speed settings, and look for “slow down on overhangs”. Also, under filament > cooling, there’s an option to increase fan speed on overhangs.
You can use the top left menu on the layer view to check that the fan and print speed are actually adapting properly to the overhangs.
I’d print it on the side, will make it stronger anyways. Less likely to lose layer adhesion.
Edit: never mind, I think this is a print in place moving piece?
Try decreasing your nozzle temp, might just be too soft.
