The new open ecosystem of extensions on Firefox for Android launched in December with just over 400 extensions. Less than five months later we’ve surpassed 1,000 Firefox for Android extensions. That’s an impressive achievement by this developer community! It’s exciting to see so many developers embrace the opportunity to explore new creative possibilities for mobile browser customization.

      Going deeper in the list also reveals lots of dupes along the way. Some extensions are listed 10 times or more.

    That’s all fine and good but I need them to fix the battery drain first. It drains an insane amount of battery on Android. It drains more than games.

      What do you mean, I use it on my Android tablet all the time? But yeah the tab drawer sucks on Android and it’s not nearly as optimized as chrome’s tablet UI.
