I showed the Romney Blinken interview from sino to my Palestinian friend yesterday. He was not shocked, because I have told him these things for years.

Dumbasses don’t get that the protests are pro Palestine, not pro Hamas. The protests are against Netanyahu’s regime and the actions of the Israeli government towards the Palestinian population and not Jewish people.

Out of touch privileged classes that control the world’s governments are the problem. Beyond race or religion, it has been and will always be class warfare.

So, is Israel going to replace all the homes of civilians they blew up, or are they going to build new luxury condos? Just watch and see what they do next. Any one paying attention to actual civilian reports on the ground already knows Netanyahu’s intentions.

“Some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us to shut down potentially TikTok or other entities of that nature. If you look at the postings on TikTok and the number of mentions of Palestinians relative to other social media sites, it’s overwhelmingly so among TikTok broadcasts. So I’d note that’s of real interest, and the President will get the chance to make action in that regard,” Romney said.

Blinken’s statement serves as a poignant reminder of the west’s increasing ineptitude and desperate attempts at control. The direct access provided by social media allows people to see through the carefully crafted narratives and manipulated images that once shielded western propaganda from scrutiny.

This unfiltered exposure, coupled with the emotional resonance it evokes, has left western leaders grasping for straws in their attempts to maintain control over public opinion. In a desperate bid to regain some semblance of authority, they’re resorting to banning platforms like TikTok which only serves as further evidence of the west’s waning influence and growing irrelevance on the world stage.

As a side note, nothing reveals that US is a single party system like Blinken being interviewed by Romney at the fucking McCain institute.

If the US’ official self-understanding as a country with the rule of law, checks and balances and strong protection of private property is true, the TikTok ban should be overturned by any court.

    If.

Look in the upper right hand corner, just below the The New Republic logo. See that? “Opinion”.

People are acting as though this is factual news, rather than interpretation and spin.

Taking someone’s statements, and then spinning them to create your own narrative, is an opinion. If it’s reporting, simply stick to what he said, and not your interpretation of what they meant by what they said, and what you believe that will result in.
