I love the phrase “blinded by wokeness”. It’s just so self-contradictory, not to mention being a shitty, repulsive attitude.

“You libs want to treat people equitably! You’re such losers!” Yeah, this is someone who definitely deserves my time and attention.

What’s ironic is the same people warning of Sharia law and a Muslim takeover conspiracies are the same people actively clawing back women’s rights in the West TODAY!.

Stop pretending that bigotry and chauvinism are products of critical thought or rationality.

Maybe, I personally dont think a troll would’ve went through the effort of writing a direct PM then blocking me anyway but :shrugs:

If that’s the case then this is a Christian going out of their way to give Islam a bad stereotype because they think their invisible sky daddy fanfic is better than the other person’s and my title still stands

You’re not wrong that this post is fake, but it’s important to remember that there’s nothing phobic about criticizing someone’s voluntarily-chosen ideology, especially when that ideology promotes violence, hatred, misogyny, homophobia, racism, sexism, etc. That’s not phobia or bigotry or hatred, it’s just normal criticism

Criticizing an ideology or a religion, Islam like the others, is always okay. But considering every Muslim as a violent, hating, misogynistic, homophobic, racist and sexist person is bigotry.

People make the voluntary choice to adopt ideologies that promote racism, sexism, etc.

If they don’t agree with the ideology’s hateful and violent tenets, they don’t have to adopt the ideology, but it’s disingenuous to suggest that people who do voluntarily choose adopt those ideologies don’t actually believe in them. Nobody chooses to adopt an ideology they disagree with.

Because if you did, you’d learn that Muslims are normal people. Some are assholes, some are not. Some are straight and homophobic, others are proudly queer. You could argue that Islam is bad because it encourages homophobia, that’s an acceptable opinion. But saying that all Muslims are homophobic is bigoted and just plain wrong. The difference between legitimate criticism and hate is not hard to understand… unless one wants to blur the line, probably to hide one’s hatred.

Probably, but I’m not sure that would be the case if it was Reddit, radical islam is pushed by Saudi Arabia and Iran, and it doesn’t help that Turkey essentially has their own government run propaganda department specifically using Islam as the method and not a single nation criticizes them.

This is almost certainly some dude in their basement playing out a stereotype to stoke fear.
