this feels stupid, but i’m curious. Those who fo so, is it stylistic choice? is it because you actually do speak french? is it because your language does the same thing?

The French put a space before the exclamation mark. And also behind the exclamation mark. Like many others

I don’t understand the question. Why wouldn’t you put a space after a question mark? You did so yourself twice in this post.
