Mozarts good for stimulants, his music tends to be quite “zippy” and very up and down quasi-glissando with all the scaley runs
I’ve always thought that Beethoven’s best late period works would be great on hallucinogenics.
Also Debussy and Gershwin. Bach’s twisty fugues would also be interesting.
Although not written for piano, as a kid I loved (and still do) “La Mer” by Claude Debussy. Still perfect for shrooms or weed.
I love me some Bach, but if it’s psychedelics I might tend to want something more from the Romantic period.
I have a friend who is First Violin who swears by The Firebird, the piano reduction, while on acid. I find it too much, but I’m not First Violin, and he’s done way more drugs than I have, so there’s that.
Strauss and his waltzes are great for shrooms/psychedelics
