Typically this is a Christian argument used against Islam - but I’m actually curious if this is seen as a valid argument from a secular point of view? (Even if it’s not the “best”)
Because essentially it’s “your holy book contradicts the holy book it claims to be endorsed by”, which personally I think I can see working on a secular level, even if you don’t actually believe in the Bible either.

! Also, full disclosure: Yes, I am a Christian. !<
both are abrahamic religions that have no valid description of abiogenesis, morality, or our location in a universe, much less pi. so, yes their holy books contradict observable reality.
i don’t think personally that we should care if they contradict themselves vs their scriptures on accordance with present day ethics because thats a moving target.
I’m less familiar with the Quran, but it seems to be less …edited throughout history vs Christianity. The important bit though, is that of the 3 abrahamic religions, only Islam has not undergone any reformation to realign itself with modern ethics.
Lastly, for christianity and not islam, the various translations lose or alter meanings of passages, which dilutes the point of both the book and it’s contradiction.
