Weird that the text was re-written, I wonder if the comic was somehow translated and translated back to English?
I dunno who has the time to do this directly on a webcomic but I do love translating things to different languages and back and forth until it’s a garbled mess.

It wouldn’t be that time consuming. All you’d have to do is paint over the old text with white, and type in the translated text
