    The real crime is charging from a standard outlet. I knew you could, technically, but who has that kind of time

      People who rent? I see several places near me with a cable coming out of an outdoor socket or a home into the parking lot (actually hidden a bit so it doesn’t impact the sidewalk). Overnight should be enough if you aren’t planning a roadtrip the next day.

      It takes something like 20 hours to charge from empty, but for topping off day to day it’s not the bad really.

      I also charge from a standard outlet all the time …been doing it since I got the car 3 years ago

      I charge mine from a standard outlet. I have that kind of time. Every night while I sleep

        Crazy. While I’m a huge proponent, it’s still hard to believe it works.

        I’m very happy to have a level 2 though. I top off (to 80%) my car about once a week or when I want to schedule it to be defrosted

      It’s totally fine. I work from home so I can get ~100 miles of range/day. And I only drive that far in 1 day maybe 1x/month.
