I’ve just finally contracted it for the first time. I’m vaxxed and multiple-times-boosted, so it’s not that bad…
But it’s still pretty fucking miserable. Ugh. The paxlovid seems to be helping some, but in return it’s giving me the most horrendous taste in my mouth. Like a battery fucked a lemon in there.
What worked for you when you caught it, lemmings?
I treated like a stronger than usual strain of the flu. I was and am healthy. I had no comorbidities. I knew that if I was infected it wouldn’t kill me. And I’m sure that at several times if tested I would have come up positive but I never had any significant symptoms. I live in a state that was one of the first to end all restrictions and simply lived life normally. I did get the vax before it was know that it actually didn’t prevent you from getting covid and it did not prevent you from spreading it if you were positive.
The vaccines actually did do a good job of preventing infection and spread initially. But thanks to anti-vaxxers, it had ample opportunity to mutate. So it did.
He’s downplaying every aspect of the disease and even the response to it. He’s not here to have a conversation. He’s a Republican mouthpiece.

The vaccine saved almost 20 million lives in the first year.
