    you do it with !asklemmy@lemmy.ml your frontend should translate it then into a link that points to your instance that shows the foreign community. (in my case it would point to: https://feddit.org/c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml)

    use the !_@ format, like !community@instance.tld

    that will make an instance-neutral link to the muni
