Today when i opened the tab of psa my firewall (rethink) pinged as i have set it to automatically block internet acess of newly installed apps and ask me to decide if i should allow them internet access. The thing is i can’t find them on my phones applist even if i enable system apps to delete it . Rethink shows it in installed catalog and i am pretty sure this is an installed app as i have gone through my system apps several times and just look at it it only tries to connect to that site and is made to pass as a system app . What should i do ? Should i wipe down my phone ? Also /c/ piracy should stop reccomending that shithole site honestly.

PS : Sorry if i’m on the wrong community you can point me in the right direction.

    Wtf are you talking about ? I am asking what should i do and if this is a virus what does piracy have anyrhing to do with it ?

      you were talking about !piracy@lemmy.ml and how you were downloading stuff from a site they endorsed, and now you think you got infected by something. So I was asking what does that have to do with privacy?

          In your edit you literally were aluding to /c/piracy and given that you are from ml the leap was not that big to make. But if you were talking about a different server then I must apologise.
