“Labour” is also the British equivalent of the Democratic Party, except they somewhat recently had an actually left wing leader. Neoliberals couldn’t have that, so they concocted smears about him supposedly being antisemitic to force him out and now the leader of Labour is Tony Blair but without the charisma.
