A picture of a 3D printed router guide

My router (makita) was supplied with a copying guide but the opening was too small.

I’ve look online but I could not managed to find the right size so I did what any sane person would do: print one

    I’ve made a dino shaped kitchen helper tower for my two kids.

    I’ve made a big 3D printed template for it and I still need to print the eyes and spine. It’s a woodworking project full of 3D printing !

      Pics! Also know.nothing about routers…could you explain what this piece you 3dpd is for?

        I’m not OP, but I would guess they cut out one dinosaur profile and wanted another to match. The copying guide allowed them to set the first cutout on top of another sheet of plywood and then trace around the template. You can see a sleeve around the router bit that would protect whatever the router is sitting on.
