Accroding to wiki then this(fediverse) should be linked to platforms like pixelfed and mastadon too, is it? How do I see content from them or in what way are these platforms interlinked with this reddit styled one?
Start one! Every community has to start somewhere
There’s no way I can position myself as a knowledgable person or gather useful resources when I only used the subreddit for beginner recommendations.
I wouldn’t even be suitable as a mod for such a community because I don’t have the education or experience necessary to determine when a poster is making a dangerous recommendation (such as recommending a certain amount of retinol, especially as it relates to a daily routine).
When it comes to topics that have the potential for injury, it’s important that these communities are moderated by people who known what safety looks like. Same reason that a mod of an electrical community should understand basic electrical safety.
