While the developers of Valheim continue working on the Deep North biome, they've released another smaller update with some fixes and improvements to make the game smoother.
I sincerely tried ngl. I managed to get through the Mistlands even though most of it just wasn’t fun to me. Then I managed to get to the Ashlands, did my first stronghold raid and… I wasn’t having fun at all. Maybe it’s better with friends (how I initially played the game), but all of mine are busy.
That’s fair, to each their own. I absolutely love resource gathering and building so it is very fun for me. All but a few of my hours in the game are solo play.
Also mods can make the game a bit less demanding which can make it more fun too, like letting metal through portals for example.
