    Excuse me if what you said was meant as a joke, but a country that got extremely rich from exploiting fossil fuel is maybe not a great benchmark for how the average country can transition to EVs. It’s like taking advice from a lottery winner the best way to make a million bucks…

      How they got rich doesn’t change their sales figures. Other countries that got rich in different ways could apply the same techniques.
