So normally people like me get extremely happy if you say something like ‘nice shirt’, however it got me wondering about people who receive compliments and gifts all the time, what makes y’all happy? I presume it gets kinda annoying after some time?

I’m pretty well liked at work, but I don’t get compliments on my shirts/hair/etc.
I gage being “liked” as being a person others will go to for help and better yet, to offer help. If someone sees you working on something and they offer ideas or labor, you’re doing pretty darn well. And then from a “popularity” perspective, I get invited to happy hours pretty frequently, more often than my introverted self really needs tbh, and people engage with me on non-shirt-related conversation.
