You don’t even know how much I’ve been wanting this, especially since this already existed for Plex

They have more or less the same functionality. This is just made to fit in with the GNOME desktop’s design language. Also, this is a third-party app.

Nice, I like apps designed for GTK. It’s like the app is made for my operating system instead of running through three compatibility layers and a dose magic.

The official app works fine for me. Using it right now as we speak. Nonetheless, I’ll give it a try.

Choice is good, I guess, although I’m perfectly happy with the official linux and windows clients. Works really well and plays very smoothly on my old laptop and desktop.

Sorry I guess I’m ignorant. I searched and got:

Yes, aarch64 indeed works for ARM. AArch64 is just another name for ARMv8, the architecture that most modern ARM-based processors use. ARMv64 or AArch64 implies a 64-bit architecture, which most modern devices use nowadays. If something is available for AArch64, that means it can be used on devices with ARMv8 (or new) processors.

        Also non bot answer: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/31851611/differences-between-arm64-and-aarch64#47274698

So what is your question? It works on newer ARM devices but not on older ones.

Apps like these make Linux feel like it’s not just a 2nd rate OS for old laptops.

What ? What do you mean ? This is a GTK app, completely unrelated to the official jellyfin desktop apps
