Moderation has gotten out of control on the internet, where people abuse their powers to perpetuate narratives they like while censoring ones they don’t.
Where can I find lemmy instances that support freedom of speech? It’s fine if you don’t like it or have issues with it (feel free to move on without a reply!)

I would like an instance to be as open as possible. Restricting creating new communities to admins doesn’t fly.
Honestly, it sounds like the best idea is to run your own instance. You can do it off of old, trash hardware.
