The first issue pertains to identifying the correct extension for an executable. In my Nemo Actions, I have the following extensions listed:
Extensions=sh;AppImage;jar;exe;
However, it does not seem to work for an app of the type application/x-executable
.
The second challenge is figuring out how to extract information about the app from where the Nemo Action is being executed. This would enable me to easily populate the fields for “.desktop,” “Application Name,” and “Application Location” without requiring user input."
