Hi fediverse,

On Friday I managed to break my foot when my dog decided to panic on a jog. I have a minor fracture.

I was put in a splint. ER released me, told me to get a boot (which I’ve ordered). I’ve been unable to find any answers online though: once I have the boot, is that enough support to remove the splint? Or will I need to wear both?

Any help appreciated!

    Depends on what bone you broke! Did they tell you which one?

    Edit: I say it depends because there are some important structural or movement related bones in the foot but there’s also some bones that barely do anything.

    I’m assuming since they didn’t cast it that means you broke a useless bone.
