Spending this year more or less alone. Parents live far away and unfortunately I don’t have anyone to watch my kitty (plus I’ve traveled a bunch recently). It’s been a very hard year for them and a tough fall for me, so it’s difficult not being there to share time together. At the same time, I’m trying not to become enveloped in sorrow and guilt and will be making lamb stew, Icelandic cookies and having some delicious spiced mead.
