My husband and I are leaving for Israel tomorrow to spend them with our son and his husband. There until 5 January. That’s the core of our plans.
We planned to go to Germany to my parents between the 14th and the 7th but because ofy wife’s work we can’t. We were only able to go to Okinawa (we are in Korea) for 5 days and the rest we will work which is especially sad for the children. We will try to do something later with the vacation days we couldn’t take now, but until summer vacation there are only one week vacations from school.
Wife and I started a tradition decades ago after I finally got a job that had real vacation time: two weeks of pizza and video games, at home. It never gets old.
I will be visiting my home village, first spendig Christmas with my family, then meeting up with my former school friends and finally spending the days around New Year’s Eve with my girlfriend’s family. Going back on 3 January, ready to continue my studies on 6th.
Yeah but uhm why Israel? Why now?
Because son’s husband is Israeli and that’s where they live.
